Opportunities to be Produced at The Brick!

To apply to any program, download the common application form, fill it out and email it to the appropriate program.

All productions will operate as a Co-Production.

PROGRAMS:

MAINSTAGE
Mainstage Productions at The Brick are usually 2 to 4 week runs which include Prime Time performance slots. Only a few slots exist each year.

LATE NIGHT
Late Night Productions at The Brick can be programmed as single performances, weekend performances or recurring events. Usually they are Friday and Saturday nights with load-ins at 10:30pm or later. These Productions must be easy to mount and low-tech. They must use whatever light plot and set restrictions currently under way. Many of these slots are available.

KIDS
Kids Productions at The Brick (a new program) will be scheduled on Saturday or Sunday afternoons. These Productions must be easy to mount and low-tech. They must use whatever light plot and set restrictions currently under way.

TINY THEATER
Tiny Theater returns May 14th and 15, 2010! Tiny Theater is a performance event that aims to include theater, dance, multi-media, puppetry, etc. Works are no longer than 10 minutes and are presented festival style in a 6’ x 6’ x 6’ box constructed of PVC pipe—performers and scenic elements must not exist outside the box at any point during each piece. The event was created originally by the Ontological-Hysteric Incubator.

THE TOO SOON FESTIVAL
The Annual Summer Theme Festival runs for 4 weeks every June (dates TBA). The theme changes every year. This year's festival is "The Too Soon Festival." To see previous years, click here.

GAME PLAY
Game Play began in 2009 as a celebration of Video Game Theater. To see last year's lineup, click here. Productions will run in repertory from July 6 to July 25.

THE NY CLOWN THEATRE FESTIVAL
The NY Clown Theatre Festival has been produced and presented by The Brick since its creation in 2006. For previous years' lineups, click here. The festival hosts full length shows and cabaret performances from around the world. Productions will run in repertory from September 3 to September 25.

FIGHT FEST
Fight Fest is the first festival of stage combat. The festival was begun at The Brick in 2009. Productions will run in repertory from December 2 to December 18. To see last year's lineup, click here.
