Though it proudly observes the pomp and claptrap of your garden-variety secret society, The Brother/Sisterhood of Master Masons of The Brick is actually much, much more than that.

The B/SMMotB is The Brick's own Associated Artist program, a way to recognize, celebrate, and occasionally humiliate the community of artists who have worked so hard over the years to help The Brick become the hotbed of creativity that it is today.

The individuals listed here are merely those who have undergone the top-secret initiation. There are many other Master Masons in training, and ceremonies are held at conspicuously irregular intervals throughout the year. Membership is based on an arcane alogrithm derived from ancient alchemical texts.

Today the Master Masons are merely a group of artists working within a loosely defined Brooklyn theater community, but who knows? Tomorrow, we just may rule the earth.
