Tiny Theater is a performance festival that aims to include theater,
dance, multi-media, puppetry, etc. Works are no longer than 10
minutes and are presented festival style in a 6’ x 6’
x 6’ box constructed of PVC pipe—performers and scenic
elements must not exist outside the box at any point during each
piece. The festival is co-presented by the Ontological-Hysteric
Incubator and The Brick Theater.
The festival is a two-week event designed to promote interest
in experimentation and new forms of spatially challenged performance.
The festival will feature short works by established and emerging
artists.
In addition to works for adult audiences, The Brick will also
be accepting applications for Tiny Theater Kids:
Tiny Theater plays for kids of all ages. Please see the bottom
of this application for instructions.
Applicants’ projects should be at a level of development
or conception such that the artist/collaborators can begin working
immediately. Proposals should demonstrate that resources - human
