Episodes highlights the passive performance of preservation through hanging egg sculptures, orange and clove pomander sculptures, and photos of a sand casting. Somewhere between a study of simple machines and kitchen magic, Episodes explores the prolongation of biodegradable objects and their tension in space. The egg sculptures will be flocked with charcoal on one side and hung against walls from long ribbons. There, they will be activated by small fans that will allow them to create elliptical drawings/rubbings. The pomanders, dried, fragrant, and outfitted with other decorative elements will hang from the ceiling or rest on the floor. The photographs will hang on the wall surrounded by other elements which indicate some type of passive energy.
