The NYC born and based clown Amando Houser is “particularly funny” (Vulture, NY MAG) and “not normal at all” (Philippe Gaulier) They are DeliaDelia! The Flat Chested Witch! She isn’t female but she does use she/her pronouns. She will defy all expectations and will go to ridiculous lengths to try to fit in— even if it kills her. This debut solo show is directed by Kedian Keohan, and is set to premiere at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2024.

Amando Houser, performer/writer/creator, (they/them) is a trans masculine actor, theatre-maker and clown born and based in NYC. In 2023 they made their Off-Broadway debut with Soho Rep in Snatch Adams and Tainty McCracken Present It’s That Time of the Month! The show was featured in Vulture’s Best Theatre of 2023 and they reached critical acclaim for their performance. They have performed in and devised work at venues and variety shows across the city as well as at New York Theatre Workshop, The Wild Project, JACK, and The Richard B. Fisher Center at Bard College. Amando is a recent graduate of École Philippe Gaulier in France and has trained with Pig Iron Theatre Company in Philadelphia, Julia Masli, and 2023 Britain’s Got Talent Winner Viggo Venn.

Kedian Keohan, director, is a trans theater director and creator of live performances. They have collaborated with artists ruth tang, Keenan Hurley, Jordan Fein, Erin Markey, Minna Lee, Ann Marie Dorr & Paul Ketchum, minor theater, Geoff Sobelle, Dance Heginbotham, and Alice Gosti. Currently: Community Dramaturg for Snatch Adams opening at Soho Rep in October. He has directed workshops of ruth tang’s ISABEL and WORK HARD HAVE FUN MAKE HISTORY with support from NAATCO, Long Wharf, Clubbed Thumb, and Breaking the Binary Theatre Festival. Kedian was Associate Director on Ryan J. Haddad’s Dark Disabled Stories (The Public Theater/Bushwick Starr). Kedian performed the role of Major in NY Times’ Critic Pick Marie It’s Time (HERE Arts Center) written by Julia Jarcho. Kedian was a core collaborator, performer, and ensemble co-director for Andrew Schneider’s AFTER (The Public Theater) and NERVOUS/SYSTEM (BAM). Some directing work: Anatomical Hearts (Dartmouth College), Last Gold (Hunter College), Button Lake Band Camp (Winterworks), BLUSH (Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab), A Bone to Pick (Brunch Theatre), Venus in Gemini (Exponential Festival), *Chefs Kiss* (FEAST/Your Uncle Richard). Some assisting work: minor theater’s Pathetic (Abrons Art Center), Singlet (Bushwick Starr), and Rags Parkland Sings Songs of the Future (Ars Nova). Kedian is a former Clubbed Thumb Directing Fellow and a New Georges affiliated artist. (they/he) @justkedian
