written and directed by Harold Lehmann

A meditation on the life and philosophy of Baruch Spinoza in weather reports, dance moves, and Pizza.

Performers: Lyana Fernández, E. James Ford, Harold Lehmann
Video Art by Jimi Pantalon

Harold became increasingly obsessed with the life and writings of Baruch Spinoza, sensing a deep relevance to the ethical and political quandaries of our time; he wrote about 300 pages of madness and then culled it down with trusted conspirators into a meditation on Spinoza’s life and work featuring weather reports, dance moves and pizza- mmmm Pizza..

DigiTale
by Aya Saotome

A search for a dream, the drudgery of supermarket work, a shortage of toilet paper and birds infiltrating the internet. A dance theater production celebrating the everyday and the absurd.

Directed and choreographed by Aya Jane Saotome with original music from Miu Soda
Performed by Miu Soda, Lyndsey Lykowski, Brian Fernandez

A journey from East to West! From rural Japan to New York City, everyday life and extraordinary events are told through dance, theater, comedy and music. A celebration of the everyday and the absurd from the drudgery of supermarket work to birds infiltrating the internet.

Gestating Baby is a semi-regular series of split bill performances curated by Theresa Buchheister and Ryan William Downey that presents new and unpredictable works across the spectrum of theatrical performing arts. It began in 2013 at The Silent Barn and is now revived at The Brick Theater in Brooklyn, NY.
