DESCRIPTION:Give Us A Hand\nwith Travis Amiel\, Cosimo Port\, Skye Fort and Mike Steele\nMarch 11 – 7PM-10:30PM\nDoors at 7PM\, Performances at 7:30PM\nat Brick Aux – 628 Metropolitan Ave \nGive Us a Hand is a fundraiser for Das Ersatz and Disaster Theatre\, two experimental theatre shows that will premiere at the Brick Theater in Williamsburg Summer 2024. Disaster Theatre by Mike Steele and Skye Fort is a multimedia performance collage which repurposes pop culture disaster tropes to confront an endless cycle of catastrophe. Das Ersatz by Cosimo Pori and Travis Amiel is a dance-theatre show about substitutions and feeling expendable. It is influenced by Julietta Singh and Bob Fosse. \nJoin us for a party featuring preview performances from both works-in-progress. Also featuring: DJs. Drinks. Dance. Dazzle. \nCost: $20\nAdditional donations happily accepted (all proceeds go to support production costs for both projects) \n*** \n \nThe Brick is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
