SUMMARY:How to Be in Front of People : Mastering the Art of Live Performance
DESCRIPTION:The Brick presents\nHow to Be in Front of People : Mastering the Art of Live Performance \nwith River L. Ramirez\n4 Sessions – August 20 and 27\, September 3 and 10\, 20246-8pm at Brick Aux – 628 Metropolitan Ave \n***SIGN UP HERE*** \n\nOpen to All Levels\n$200 for 4 classes (recommended)\n$50 per session\nYou can sign up for 1\, 2\, 3\, or 4 class sessions!\nPlease email theresa@bricktheater.com if you would like to take the class but money is a barrier.\n\nIn this class we will focus on finding balance within one’s self and bringing that to the stage. How do we become comfortable showing our selves to others? First\, we figure out how to be comfortable with ourselves. What are your values\, what are your intentions\, what are you wanting to say and express? In this course we will dig deep to get closer to the reasons we perform. \nThrough group conversations\, writing prompts\, movement exercises\, and practicing performance in front of trusted peers\, we dig deeper into our performance practices to dig out what is hidden and what wants to be seen. \nRiver Ramirez photographed by Bridget Badore | @bridgetbadore www.bridgetbadore.com\nRiver L.
