SUMMARY:In the Castle of Eternal Sunset: A Module for Ten 0th Level Characters
DESCRIPTION:Brick Aux presents\nIn the Castle of the Eternal Sunset: A Module for Ten 0th Level Characters\nBy Charles Green\nAugust 9-13\, 2023\nat Brick Aux – 628 Metropolitan Ave\n$20-30 \nA play that changes with each performance– based on the roll of the dice– In the Castle of Eternal Sunset follows two teenage boys as they play a game of Dungeons & Dragons on an autumn day in 2004. As the teenagers roll to see what happens next\, their different possible futures slowly unfold— both in\, and outside\, the game. \nDuring the play\, audience members will be prompted to read aloud fragments of text from their seats\, determined randomly by the fall of the dice. The texts contain the hundred different possibilities of how the boys’ lives might unfold. Their fates\, then\, are never set— until the die rolls\, each performance\, set them on their path— and the audience speaks their futures into being. \nProduced by The Interstitial\nDirector: Erica Wray\nPlaywright: Charles Green\nMusic by Joshua Dumas\nCostumes by Adam Mummery \nPlayer: Kevin Gill\nDungeon Master: Max Raymond \nProduction Coordinator: Lindsay Warnick \n\n\n\nPoster & Pamphlet Design by Joshua Dumas\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpecial thanks to A.R.T./New York\, Kate Adams\, K8 August\, Mark Benedetti\, Dani Bryant\, Ellis Fontana\, Casey Grambo\, Robbie Hamilton\, Ava Markhovsky\, Ren Pepitone\, and Mike Steele\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFollow them: theinterstitialnyc.com @theinterstitialnyc \n*** \n \nThe Brick is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
