Festival Performance live-captured in collaboration with ZANNI Productions. Open to in-person and live-streamed audiences. \n\nQueer failure artist Travis Amiel and the ravishing dancer-poet Cosimo Pori invite you to experience Das Sofortvergnügen (THE INSTANT PLEASURE)\, a dance-theatre-spectacle about insatiable desires\, [in]convenience\, and patience. \nOne Performance Only: Sunday October 17 3pm\nRSVP HERE or tune in at The Brick YouTube Channel\nTravis Amiel is a multidisciplinary artist investigating queerness\, pretentiousness\, shame\, convenience\, and commons/cooperative-based organizing. Travis makes digital games and animations in addition to performances\, paintings\, podcasts\, puppets\, and produces online livestreams. T works with HowlRound Theatre Commons\, makes shows at The Tank\, and can be found frequently at Greene Hill Food Coop. Travis studied contemporary performance at Emerson College\, more at travisamiel.com & on social media @heytravistravis. \nCosimo Pori is a dancer\, poet\, and performer who lives in Brooklyn. Their favorite food is ravioli and they believe in ghosts. @cosimopolitan on Instagram. \nJon Burklund (they/he) is a New York based filmmaker\, performance documentarian\, and founder of ZANNI Productions. Since 2015\, Jon has created over four hundred videos documenting the works and lives of theater\, dance\, and performance artists. Jon’s past collaborators include Arena Stage\, American Repertory Theater\, ARS Nova\, Bushwick Starr\, The Brick\, The Exponential Festival\, La Mama ETC\, Lincoln Center\, Ma-Yi Theatre Company\, Musical Theatre Factory\, New York Theater Workshop\, Parsons Dance\, The Public Theater\, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater\, Soho Rep\, and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. \nThis program is made possible by the #CityArtistCorps Grant Program presented by New York Foundation for the Arts
