Check out: Polly: a dumbshow for smart people desperate to survive the fallout Nov 15-23 \n$30 tickets available to catch Methods AND Polly in a package deal! \nWhen an artist sets out to investigate the line between art and madness\, he finds himself in a dangerous dance with existential questions: \nWhy create art?\nDoes it heal or harm us?\nMust artists suffer?\nWhat’s the price of so-called “genius?” \nMethods in Madness is a theatrical experiment + autopsy + installation that aims to examine the creative process and correlations between mental health and artistry. Helmed by multidisciplinary artist Corey Allen—whose visual art and performances\, inspired by the works of James Baldwin\, Beauford Delaney\, Nina Simone\, and Julius Eastman\, anchor the installation—Methods in Madness will evolve daily. \nCreative Team:\nCorey Allen\, Playwright\nJason Tseng\, Co-Lead Organizer\nMiranda Holliday\, Organizer\nNathaneal Brown\, Composer/Sound Designer\nWill Lowry\, Scenic Designer\nKia Rogers\, Lighting Designer\nGenevieve Wilson\, Video\, Projections\, Graphic Design\nFiona Hansen\, Stage Manager\nBraxton Rae\, Collaborator \nFind them: www.corey-allen.com\nSpecial thanks: Flux Theatre Ensemble \n*** \n \nThe Brick is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. That stop has an elevator from the street to the platform. Our theater has a driveway leading up to the door\, which means you can access it directly from the street without having to go over a curb. Our front door is ADA compliant. There is a small ramp with an ADA compliant grade that leads up to the box office window and further on to the house. We are happy to reserve accessible seats for folks who need them. If you’d like to do so\, or if you would like to ask further questions in advance of being in the space\, or if you would like to enter in advance of our house opening (due to our seating not being assigned)\, please email: cameron@bricktheater.com.\n\nQuestions about Content? Posted just to the right of the box office at the Brick box\, we have a detailed content warning sheet for each production. You can check this list if you so choose. We also will have clearly posted signs where you check in for any productions that use loud sounds\, flashing lights\, fog\, or similar.
