SUMMARY:Monologues for Nobody
DESCRIPTION:The Brick presents\nMonologues for Nobody\nBy Jerrod Jordahl and mind dream theater\nJanuary 7\, 2025\nRunning time: 60 minutes\nat Brick Aux Studio – 628 Metropolitan Ave \nDoors 7PM\nPresentation 7:30-8:30PM\nParty 8:30-10PM \nWelcome to a mind dream theater presentation of Jerrod Jordahl‘s Monologues for Nobody: An Album Release and Listening Party! What to expect? Definitely food\, drinks\, listening\, art\, and very fun vibes. \nA collection of nine audio monologues delivered by characters searching for belonging\, often finding it in moments shaped by everyday objects. A bag of trash. A glass of water. A packet of gas pills. These objects are mundane\, even absurd\, but become sacred as the nine voices share stories about finding hope in unusual places\, the comfort of a childhood memory\, and the inspiring escape of a cow fleeing the city. Stories that illustrate the tragedy of isolation and connect mythology with contemporary life. A work for audio\, Monologues for Nobody invites listeners to be present with the voices\, and each other\, in time and space. \nWritten and Directed by Jerrod Jordahl\nA mind dream theater Production\nProduced by Theresa Buchheister\, Rachel Dakarian\, Allyson Dwyer\, Jerrod Jordahl\, Mike Spara\nCast: Hannah Adrian\, Jazmyn Boone\, Theresa Buchheister\, Ronald Emile\, Alex Hurt\, Sarah Kim\, Trí Lê\, Mike Spara\, Felix Teich\nEdited by Rachel Dakarian\, Jerrod Jordahl\, Philip Rabalais\nMusic and Sound Design by Philip Rabalais\nRecorded at Bookmark Audio\nSound Engineer Tovi Rodriguez\nArt and Design by Morgan Dakarian and Jerrod Jordahl \n\nImage: Jerrod Jordahl\n\n\nFind them: @jerrod.jordahl @peachplumpearpeachplum @buchheistertheresa @minddreamtheater @radakarian @heymikespara @hannahadrian @bingbadaboone @hollywoodrondon @alex_hurt_ @tri.le7 @felix.teich @philip.rabalais @tovotomy @ms_seroon  @sarah_hk_kim\n\n\n\n***\n\n\n \nThe Brick is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
