Two translucent papers\, tinted lime green\, are layered and display swirling black ink. A thick marker was used to draw two hands on the back-most paper\, reaching skyward out from behind the edge of the foremost paper. The rest of the thick ink is a blurry array of diagonal curves\, shadowed behind the foremost layer of connected thin lines. The foremost drawing features looping arches\, jags\, and corners to resemble a hand\, an oval head\, eye brows\, a mouth\, and a torso. Four hole punches in the middle of the head resemble eyes\, and shine a lighter green than the rest of the image. From a distance these details are less distinct\, and the image resembles 2 young trees\, with 5 branches each\, growing out of a whirling green tornado. \nFind them: @marsgarcia_works; marsgarcia.com \n \nDinner by Mack Lawrence – April 16 & 18 \nWhat the fuck happened to Jo\, and can you see this growth in the back of my throat?\n\nFour friends try to have a dinner party after Jo up and ghosted the squad. As the British forces approach relentlessly they must decide what they are willing to do to survive the encroaching invasion of their land\, how far they are willing to go to fight against the disease of colonialism\, and what it really means to be a revolutionary. \nWritten by Camille Simone Thomas\nSongs Composed by Camille Simone Thomas\nSongs Transcribed by Can Yassar\nPerformers:\nCarter \nDaryl Bright Clay\nJaida Mae\nMusic Director: Danyele James \nDirector: Raecine Singletary  \nFind them: @Camille4reel\, camillesthomas.com \n*** \n \nThe Brick is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
