SUMMARY:?!: New Works 2026 – Night 11
DESCRIPTION:The Brick presents\n?!: New Works 2026 – Night 11\nFeaturing: Emma McGill & Charlie Chauca | Sam Kann & Chloë Engel | Hand Foot and Mouth | Michael Galligan & Kiki Milner\nApril 22\, 2026 at 8pm \n?!:New Works features a veritable slew of experiment(al)(ing) artists from a variety of disciplines presenting brand new work. Working it out. With each other. With you. \n  \n\nTBA by Emma McGill & Charlie Chauca\n \n  \n\nComplex Boy by Sam Kann in collaboration with Chloë Engel\nIn Complex Boy\, Sam Kann and Chloë Engel slip in and out of a series of amorphous characters—a CEO obsessed with self-optimization\, a fragile diva\, a cruising dock worker\, a teenage bisexual girl\, and a roving cosmic id. As soon as each character comes into focus\, they are already deteriorating\, as near destruction and near climax is stretched for all to see and transformation erupts from the inside out.\nLighting design by Shana Crawford\nSet support by Lydia Kern \n  \n\nAn Evening with Hand Foot and Mouth by Hand Foot and Mouth\nAn elusive\, hermetic puppet troupe called Hand Foot and Mouth has finally emerged from their home in the sewers of NYC to proudly present their puppet opus for one night only. Hand Foot and Mouth will lay bare their souls for us\, from set up to take down; and every quarrel\, triumph\, surprise\, and tear shed between.\nDiane Lenertz\, David Gordesky\, and Emma Singer \n  \n\nBrothers by Michael Galligan & Kiki Milner\nTwo brothers (one big\, one small\, both wearing ill-fitting suits) make a spectacular entrance to the stage. They are security guards\, but they are also very stupid. As the brothers attempt to secure the perimeter and protect the audience\, they make a shocking discovery. Will the brothers decide to risk separation in order to neutralize the threat\, or will fraternal bonds prevail?\nCreated and performed by Michael Galligan and Kiki Milner \n  \n \nThe Brick is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We rely on the generosity of our patrons. Consider giving a tax-deductible donation today to help make The Brick a sustainable hub of experimental performance for many years to come.
