SUMMARY:?!: New Works 2026 – Night 3
DESCRIPTION:The Brick presents\n?!: New Works 2026 – Night 3\nFeaturing: Saige Larmer & Libby Carr | Kyra Sims | The Buong-Buo Collective | Leo Grierson\nApril 10\, 2026 at 8pm \n?!:New Works features a veritable slew of experiment(al)(ing) artists from a variety of disciplines presenting brand new work. Working it out. With each other. With you. \n  \n\nJodie Foster Judge Judy Erotica by Saige Larmer & Libby Carr\nJodie Foster Judge Judy Erotica is a detective procedural spoof turned power suit lesbian courtroom porno turned polyester dance theater fantasy.\n \n  \n\nOtto in Antarctica by Kyra Sims\n“Hello from the bottom of the world…” Join Kyra as she unpacks her adjectives and her recordings made during her travels in Antarctica with her French horn\, Otto. Featuring electronically processed French horn\, field recordings\, storytelling\, and video art.\nVideo Art by Ryn Hardiman \n  \n\nBuong/Buo by The Buong-Buo Collective\n“Buong-buo\,” very roughly translated from Tagalog\, means total completeness or wholeness—both in community and within one’s soul. The piece invites audiences to question what it means to belong while navigating intersecting cultural identities. When does one go from being Filipino to being part of the diaspora? In this latest iteration\, Buong/Buo (read as Buong Buo Binali\, translated literally to Buong Buo Broken) asks what does it mean to create absent collaborators\, across oceans and imaginary borders?\nCo-devisers Kenneth Keng\, Carlos Lising\, Red Concepcion\, Danilo Zepeda\, Misha Bernas \n  \n\nRainbow Bridge by Leo Grierson\nSuzanne\, Breilyn\, and Maryanne may have complicated feelings about being online\, but they love love LOVE their dogs. So much so that they meet in a Facebook group where people post AS their dogs— engaging in a digital cosplay where they find solace in a community based on kindness\, treats\, and belly rubs. When the charming and charismatic Golden Retriever “Charlie” enters the group\, each woman forms a distinct and passionate bond with this Good Boy. But when Charlie goes missing before the celebratory “Rainbow Bridge Event\,” the women fall down an online rabbit hole where they are forced to confront their real selves as well as their digital avatars to discover the truth of what happened to their pixel-furry friend. Suzanne – Amber Avant\, Breilyn – Lee Talbot\, Lighting Design – Scott Monnin\, Media and Sound Design – Leo Grierson \n  \n \nThe Brick is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We rely on the generosity of our patrons. Consider giving a tax-deductible donation today to help make The Brick a sustainable hub of experimental performance for many years to come.
