We will be enforcing this policy for all upcoming performances\, and ask that all audience members\, regardless of vaccination status\, remain masked. All staff and performers will be vaccinated\, performers may not be masked. Audience can provide proof of vaccination with a government issued I.D. along with a COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card or the Excelsior Pass App. We are navigating this day to day just like all of you so please be patient with staff when you attend your next Brick event. We love all of you. \n*** \nALEX AGUIRRE \n \nIn an anarcho-capitalist technocracy\, Scarlett and Drew are hired to make it seem as if artists still exist. \nAlex Aguirre is a playwright\, poet\, theater director\, and actor based in Brooklyn\, NY. He wrote\, directed\, and acted in the surrealist play Lushland which was staged at Vital Joint and Patch Works in November 2019. Alex’s most recent full-length play is Phases of the Night\, a Gothic tragicomedy set in a mausoleum. Alex also plays bass in the rock band Violet Grove. \nTatienne Hendricks-Tellefsen is a classically trained actor\, born and raised in New York City. Tatienne studied Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London\, and is a recent graduate of Atlantic Acting School. Tatienne wrote\, produced and starred in her web series\, ADULT\, which was an official selection at Lower East Side Film Festival and won two audience awards at Indie Works\, New York. ADULT also earned Tatienne an invitation to participate in the Tribeca N.O.W. Creators Market. Recent acting credits include: David Chase’s THE MANY SAINTS OF NEWARK\, Kevin Vu’s short film\, PERFECT AS CATS\, and a lead role in the upcoming feature film\, ALL MEN ARE WICKED. \nNick Walther is an NYC-based stage & voice actor with roots in Brooklyn’s experimental theater and performance community. Performance highlights include a six-hour durational play\, Haunted House\, at MoMA PS1\, several Exponential Festival shows including Police in the Wilderness at Patchworks and Bernie Sanders Wants to Take Away My Fire Island Timeshare at The Brick Theater\, playing a tree frog-like microgod in The Cosmic Thrust: Lushland at Vital Joint\, and a public performance of Lord Dunsany’s The Gods of the Mountain at the Columbus Park Pavilion. Nick is a member of Theater Breaking Through Barriers\, American Renaissance Theater Company\, Saints of an Unnamed Country\, and the co-creator and host of  \nSeize the Memes of Production\, the first live meme-making gameshow (that we know of). Nick’s audiobook narration and voiceover work can be found online; nickwalther.com.  \nChristopher Pio was recently nominated for his work in the premiere of The Myth of Forgiveness at the New York Theater Festival. He also starred in Willem & The Judge\, which had a simultaneous virtual premiere at 2020’s Garden State Film Festival & International de Film Sur L’art in Montreal. \nChris moved to NYC in 2014 to attend Atlantic Acting School where he studied with the Atlantic Theater Company founding members. Upon graduating\, he has been a part of many independent films and off off Broadway plays. He is a self proclaimed art house movie theater nerd\, and enjoys strolling around town with his dog\, “Freddie Mercury”. \n*** \nAMANDA ARIEL PEGGY XELLER \n \nWritten and Performed by Amanda Xeller \nAction\, Mess\, Love\, and Ass. Character Comedian\, Amanda Xeller\, presents new raw and physical pieces of performative debauchery. You might get splashed? \n*** \nFRAN PADO \n \nThe Mall  \nWritten and directed by Fran Pado \nMusic by Fran Pado and Andy Newman\n\nAlexa is a 12- year- old girl whose only dream is to escape her cult-hippie boarding school and hang out a the mall like a regular teen. But will the witch get her first?\n\n***\nBob Bannister (Chorus)– Bob\, a NYC  musician\, has played on upwards of fifty albums and in  hundreds of live shows.  Currently\, he plays in  Fire In The Kitchen and The Scene Is Now. His theatrical experience is primarily in the pit band\, ranging from an undergraduate Godspell  to Fran Pado’s Grinny at Dixon Place in 2017. His debut appearance\, age 7\, as MacDuff’s son in “MacBeth” at Swarthmore College remains a treasured memory. \nLeah Coloff ( Alexa)– Coloff is a cellist\, singer and composer described by The New York Times as “a combination of artful angularity and a rock-inflected assertiveness.” Leah has worked with composers such as Philip Glass\, Joel Thome\, Sean Friar\, Michael Gordon and Ted Hearne. Credits include cello chair for Oklahoma! On Broadway\, the premieres of Ridge Theater’s Lightning At Our Feet as cellist/singer/performer and Beth Morrison Productions\, Ted Hearne’s The Source\, as cellist. Recent discography includes: The Source (New Amsterdam)\, selected best classical recordings of  2015 by The New York Times and The New Yorker\, Outlanders (New Amsterdam) and This Tree (searchingeye)\, the album inspiring her multimedia autobiographical song cycle encompassing family\, memory\, secrets and loss. This Tree  received commissioning\, development\, and production support from HERE as part of the HERE Artist Residency Program and premiered at the Prototype Festival 2019. Leah is a regular performer at the Obie Award winning Secret City and cellist for the Scorchio String Quartet\, featured in the award winning documentary\, Inside the Perfect Circle: The Odyssey of Joel Thome. She has played with musicians such as Trey Anastasio\, David Bowie\, Michael Cerveris\, Rufus Wainwright\, Lou Reed and Damon Albarn among others.  Leah studied with Irene Sharp at The San Francisco Conservatory of Music\, and with Bernard Greenhouse at The New England Conservatory of Music. \nLisa Hargus ( Fernandina)– Lisa is a stage and film actor and vocalist. Her work as of late concentrates on narrative storytelling through creating physical forms. She has worked with NYC-based  2Texans Experimental Theater Group and with the Faux Real Theatre Company in Austin\, Tx. Stage credits include: The Tempest (Ariel)\, Measure for Measure ( Isabella)\, Antigone (chorus). Her performance in American Arcana was called “harrowing and poignant.”  Film credits include: Journeyman\, Newton Boys\, and Hysterical Blindness. She sings with the women-identifying chorus Sirens of Brooklyn and the BLCK CRYNS\, a rock band with roots in the Brooklyn Waldorf School. \nStephanie Batchelder ( Madame Thistletack)- Stephanie is a member of Falconworks radical community theater and a writer with Playwrights Gallery. She’s also worked with Ensemble Studio Theater and NYTW and was most recently seen in The Program: a 12 Step Meeting For White Supremacists\, returning live this fall. Stephanie is a longtime fan of Fran Pado’s work and happy to be here. \nAndy Newman plays (along with The Mall Part 1 playwright Fran Pado and cast member Bob Bannister) in the experimental witch-folk band Goddess\, whose last album\, “Paradise\,” was called “one the year’s best and most hauntingly psychedelic albums” by New York Music Daily.\n\n*** \nJASON WANG \n \nRanked Choice Dating is an interactive theatrical video game where you’ll try to score a hot date with NYC’s steaming mayoral candidates. Will they stay the night? Or will you get stopped and frisked?
