But will the witch get her first?\nBob Bannister (Chorus)– Bob\, a NYC  musician\, has played on upwards of fifty albums and in  hundreds of live shows.  Currently\, he plays in  Fire In The Kitchen and The Scene Is Now. His theatrical experience is primarily in the pit band\, ranging from an undergraduate Godspell  to Fran Pado’s Grinny at Dixon Place in 2017. His debut appearance\, age 7\, as MacDuff’s son in “MacBeth” at Swarthmore College remains a treasured memory. \nLeah Coloff ( Alexa)– Coloff is a cellist\, singer and composer described by The New York Times as “a combination of artful angularity and a rock-inflected assertiveness.” Leah has worked with composers such as Philip Glass\, Joel Thome\, Sean Friar\, Michael Gordon and Ted Hearne. Credits include cello chair for Oklahoma! On Broadway\, the premieres of Ridge Theater’s Lightning At Our Feet as cellist/singer/performer and Beth Morrison Productions\, Ted Hearne’s The Source\, as cellist. Recent discography includes: The Source (New Amsterdam)\, selected best classical recordings of  2015 by The New York Times and The New Yorker\, Outlanders (New Amsterdam) and This Tree (searchingeye)\, the album inspiring her multimedia autobiographical song cycle encompassing family\, memory\, secrets and loss. This Tree  received commissioning\, development\, and production support from HERE as part of the HERE Artist Residency Program and premiered at the Prototype Festival 2019. Leah is a regular performer at the Obie Award winning Secret City and cellist for the Scorchio String Quartet\, featured in the award winning documentary\, Inside the Perfect Circle: The Odyssey of Joel Thome. She has played with musicians such as Trey Anastasio\, David Bowie\, Michael Cerveris\, Rufus Wainwright\, Lou Reed and Damon Albarn among others.  Leah studied with Irene Sharp at The San Francisco Conservatory of Music\, and with Bernard Greenhouse at The New England Conservatory of Music. \nLisa Hargus ( Fernandina)– Lisa is a stage and film actor and vocalist. Her work as of late concentrates on narrative storytelling through creating physical forms. She has worked with NYC-based  2Texans Experimental Theater Group and with the Faux Real Theatre Company in Austin\, Tx. Stage credits include: The Tempest (Ariel)\, Measure for Measure ( Isabella)\, Antigone (chorus). Her performance in American Arcana was called “harrowing and poignant.”  Film credits include: Journeyman\, Newton Boys\, and Hysterical Blindness. She sings with the women-identifying chorus Sirens of Brooklyn and the BLCK CRYNS\, a rock band with roots in the Brooklyn Waldorf School.  \nStephanie Batchelder ( Madame Thistletack)- Stephanie is a member of Falconworks radical community theater and a writer with Playwrights Gallery. She’s also worked with Ensemble Studio Theater and NYTW and was most recently seen in The Program: a 12 Step Meeting For White Supremacists\, returning live this fall. Stephanie is a longtime fan of Fran Pado’s work and happy to be here. \nAndy Newman plays (along with The Mall Part 1 playwright Fran Pado and cast member Bob Bannister) in the experimental witch-folk band Goddess\, whose last album\, “Paradise\,” was called “one the year’s best and most hauntingly psychedelic albums” by New York Music Daily.\n\n*** \nAaron Laroche and Ryan William Downey \n \nThe Whistleman \nwritten\, directed\, and scored by Ryan William Downey \nperformed by Aaron Laroche and Scott Ries \nlighting design by Theresa Buchheister \nLean in a little closer.
