DESCRIPTION:THE BRICK PRESENTS: \nOOC:TNG EPISODE 6 – SEASON FINALE – “coVIDS”  \n~a year (and a half) in review~ \nSUNDAY OCTOBER 10TH\, 8PM\, ON twitch.tv/outofcaution \nOUT OF CAUTION: THE NEXT GENERATION (OOC:TNG) is an avant-garde microfestival of innovative works and conversations streamed live on Twitch.  \nJOIN US for Out of Caution’s season finale: a night of feeling\, honoring\, and remembering.  It’s been a wild year (and a half).  Episode 6 “coVIDS\,” presents vibrant brushstrokes from Christopher Idoko\, sensory interaction from Aru\, movement and bow strokes from Andi Grace and Harriet Veltkamp\, and percuss-cuss-cussion from Nathan Repasz. Hosted by Jason Wang! \nSpecial guest appearance Theresa Buchheister and Lauren Miller! \nARTIST LINEUP: \nCHRISTOPHER IDOKO \n \nA collection of works examining life through the lenses of social and mental  struggle. The pieces represent thoughts about life and the black society at a  particular point in time with distorted human figures \nARU  \n \na performance art reflection on the lockdown. \nWe are afraid of discomfort. \n‍Caught between complex ideas and emotions\, with no answers in sight\, what’s  left?  \n‍The discomfort of vulnerability.  \n‍ And here\, the possibility of critical emotional observation emerges.  \nANDI GRACE + HARRIET VELTKAMP \n \nA melodic and in-motion exploration of the space we have inhabited. \nI – names\, syllables and meaning\, each a person\, say them \nII – BODY: examine a familiar space\, hear a familiar sound\, fight the space\, forgive the space. MIND: a relationship falls apart\, stumbling conversations\, the internet crashes. SOUL: loneliness\, fear\, slowness\, constant thought.  SPIRIT: sink into the earth\, a disrupted routine\, prayer\, finish in an unfinished space\, emerge in uncertainty. \nNATHAN REPASZ \n \nA structured improvisation for percussion\, voice\, and video of Joe Biden — a  sequel to 2020’s “National Hot Dog Day” feat.
