DESCRIPTION:The Brick presentsSubmit: A Workshop on Applyingwith Theresa Buchheister and Jaclyn BiskupDecember 3\, 20242-6pm – $25 \nThis workshop will take place remotely over Zoom. \n\n\n\nEveryone who signs up will receive an email with the Zoom link day of the class.  \n\n\n \nTheresa Buchheister and Jaclyn Biskup lead a workshop on gathering artistic submission materials\, putting materials into good shape for applications and critically reviewing those applications. \n\n \nTheresa is the artistic director of The Brick\, The Exponential Festival and Title:Point\, as well as working as a director\, engineer\, performer and teacher of voice over. In all of these projects\, they have written and reviewed thousands of applications – solo\, with a partner\, in teams and joining panels for other organizations. \ntheresabuchheister.com bricktheater.com titlepoint.org theexponentialfestival.org \n \nJaclyn Biskup is a director and producer working in theatre\, television\, and film. She currently works as the interim associate artistic director at The Brick and was the outgoing creative producer at New Ohio Theatre where she curated the Ice Factory Festival for the last five years. She received an Emmy nomination and was a Peabody Finalist for her work on the digital series THE SECRET LIFE OF MUSLIMS – and she wrote the application essays for both awards. She also wrote successful pitches for digital projects for  PBS NOVA\, Vox\, and Delta Air Lines\, among others. \n*** \n \nThe Brick is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
