DESCRIPTION:The Brick presents\nThe DECAGON Project\n\nFriday June 14\, 2024\nDoors at 7pm and Show at 7:30pm\nat Brick Aux Studio– 628 Metropolitan Ave\n\n***\nThe DECAGON Project is a boundary-pushing\, immersive dance-theater work that’s here to ask you a lot of questions: What is an audience? Are you always performing? What do your daydreams look like? Do you have strong feelings about aliens? \nExploring these questions in a mix of the performers’ own words as transcribed from dozens of hours of interviews and through contemporary dance forms\, this eclectic ensemble of artists is struggling to find answers and wants to hear your thoughts. Together we’ll dance through conversations\, share stories\, and deeply investigate whether it’s fate\, chance\, or a little bit of both that bring us together in community. \n*** \nThis workshop production of The DECAGON Project will be a stripped-down\, intimate version of the collective’s inaugural dance-theater piece.
