Her projects written for the stage include a queer adaptation of The Misanthrope\, commissioned by Bedlam\, Motherland\, a play created while Artist In Residence at Issue Project Room\, and Jingle All the Gay\, an annual holiday show with drag stars Kitten N’ Lou. Her screenplays have been developed at production companies like Annapurna and Killer Films. She’s collaborated in performance with artists including Eric André and Steve Buscemi. The New York Times has described her performances as “exhilarating.” Her first poetry collection\, Titanic\, won the Madeleine Plonsker Prize. \nAllison Brooks is a multidisciplinary performer and director. She has written\, directed\, and starred in two original films\, Looking for Richard and Sisters of Evergreen. Her film Sisters of Evergreen recently won “Best Ensemble Cast” and “Best Director” at the 2026 Comedy Film Festival in Austin\, Texas. Known for her physical comedy and love of improv\, she brings bold energy and instinctive humor to everything she creates. \nCliff Mak is a writer and producer. They have collaborated with Cecilia on a number of performances\, shows\, and videos.
