Three women gather together to tell the story of the end of the Many Mothers, an event caused by the unexpected arrival of Vivian Oblivion, a strange entity from Outer Space. Vivian Oblivion is a new performable book by Cameron Stuart, and features illustrations by Lindsey Elcessor as well as archival photographs and a small printed musical score. The text in the book is designed to be enjoyed and read as a book, while simultaneously inviting performers of all types to use the text and story to create performances. For this book launch, three groups have been invited to use & adapt the text in any way that they choose. No Brow Theater Company is a performance group led by Cameron Stuart, the author of the book. Title:Point is an experimental theatre company that has been producing work in a wide variety of spaces in NYC and around the US since 2006. Cristina Pitter is a queer afro-indigenous artist, abolitionist, and alchemist. and Serena Ebony Miller is an actress and string player based in NYC.
