Working it out. With each other. With you. \nLINEUP \n\nParrhesia – Reolutionary Acts (Section 4)\nby Marija Krtolica \nParrhesia – a new dance-theatre work takes as its point of departure Michel Foucault’s lectures The Courage of Truth (1983/84) and the concept of parrhesia – saying\, expressing everything\, and telling truth to power. The work will engage the relationship between: 1) silent action and speech 2) deliberate creation of spectacle (representation)\, and the unconscious (repressed) non-verbal and verbal discourse. The section four – revolutionary acts\, inspired by the historical documents — images\, slogans\, manifestoes from the Paris Commune\, Spartacist Uprising\, Chinese Cultural Revolution\, Black Panthers & Malcolm X\, and 1968 in U.S. and Europe; evokes the resistance to power\, heroic acts\, and desire to change the status quo. Trapped in a labyrinth void\, continuing to linger\, and haunting their lives as they try to understand themselves.
