Brick Aux Studio is a low-tech, multi-purpose performance room designed for flexible and intimate productions. We are looking to support single week runs of new work! Test drives and experiments are welcome here! This is a great way for the Brick to get to know you as an artist! Please review the following criteria before submitting your proposal:
Performance & Scheduling Requirements
- Each selected production must commit to a minimum run of four (4) performances.
- Performances must be fully struck and stored after each show to accommodate the space’s multi-use function.
- The venue provides 12 hours of total tech time, which includes load-in, rehearsal, and tech setup. Productions should be designed with these constraints in mind.
- Showtimes are at 7 PM.
Technical Considerations
- Brick Aux Studio is DIY in spirit—ideal for performances that have a scrappy and simple production strategy.
- Productions should be adaptable to a flexible, multi-purpose room setup.
- Amplified sound needs to be kept to a “reasonable level” to keep things friendly with the neighbors.
