DARKROOM is a new performance installation by Bent Duo that transcribes the structure of a Dark Room into a sonic experience. Experienced on an individual basis by appointment only, the heightened sensorial experience of anonymous Dark Room encounters and their capacity to engender unexpected and liberatory revelations serves as a framework for a new way of experiencing sound and performance. NERO is a hybrid event that includes both a work-in-progress screening of this theatrical production followed by a panel discussion on arts journalism regarding pandemic art. The panel discussion will be a conversation between NERO artists and critics to be announced.
