NOW ACCEPTING PROPOSALS FOR BRICK AUX STUDIO PRODUCTIONS

Brick Aux Studio is a low-tech, multi-purpose performance room designed for flexible and intimate productions. We are looking to support single week runs of new work—test drives and experiments are welcome here!  But, since these are ticketed events, the production must be ready for a paying audience. This is a great way for the Brick to get to know you as an artist 🙂

Please review the following criteria before submitting your proposal:

PERFORMANCE + SCHEDULING

Each selected production must commit to a minimum run of four (4) performances

Performances must be fully struck and stored after each show to accommodate the space’s multi-use function

The venue provides 12 hours of total tech time including load-in, rehearsal, and tech setup—productions should be designed with these constraints in mind

Showtimes are 7PM

TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS

Brick Aux Studio is DIY in spirit—ideal for performances that have a scrappy and simple production strategy

Productions should be adaptable to a flexible, multi-purpose room setup with a minimum of 30 seats

Sound: two speakers are available and amplified sound needs to be kept to a “reasonable level” to keep things friendly with the neighbors

Lights: no theatrical fixtures and our lights are controlled by a conventional on/off switch

Projections: 1 wall-mounted projector is available

FINANCIAL TERMS

A 50/50 box office split applies to all performances

Shows are ticketed from a baseline price of $15-25
