Grant Kelly is a photographer and printmaker from New Jersey, currently based in Ridgewood, Queens. He works as a digital technician for commercial photographers and as an art handler, while pursuing his own studio practice.

After graduating with a BFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2019, Grant turned to historic and alternative photographic processes during the pandemic. He quickly developed a deep connection with the anthotype process, in which plant-based emulsions are exposed to light to create images that are both fragile and ephemeral.

In Two Sisters, Grant returns to the land where he grew up, using found objects to make images that explore memory, permanence, and the bond between home and landscape.
