bee piece
by Ellen Zahniser
This “staged reading” gets into dance, harmonica, voice, and bee impersonation in hopes of laying bare the mechanisms of theatrical performance and maybe???? dipping over into ecstatic trance – borrowing from Xiu Xiu and Emily Dickinson, the performer meditates on a grotesque devotion to the weird beauty of things that might be somewhat bad for you!!
