Looking to be transported? Transformed? Or just straight up entertained? Join us at The Brick for a literally and figuratively magical evening, featuring the beautiful song art of Maya Sharpe, the winding and bending tales of cities from Ryan Douglass and the legit iconic craft of RJ the Magician.

Maya Sharpe is multi-passionate maker and thinker.

Maya’s passion lies in exploring simplicity in humanity through composition.
Using this tool to demonstrate there is more of a connection and love between everything than the politically derived disconnect and hatred.

RYAN DOUGLASS

Ryan Douglass is a writer and comedian.
He will be presenting the first two volumes of Transit Nodes,
a performance of a series of emails he sent to Mayor de Blasio in 2020.

RJ the MAGICIAN

Rajon Lynch aka RJ THE Magician  is a 25 year old comedian, magician and TED Speaker from Wisconsin, home of Houdini.

RJ taught magic at the famous Frenchwoods Festival of the Performing Arts summer camp in Hancock New York for three summers before eventually starting the first summer magic program ever in Shanghai, China in 2018, working as the Head of Magic and Performing Arts for two summers (’18-’19). Upon graduating from University and returning to Shanghai summer 2019, RJ then moved to New York to Pursue a Career in Magic, where he was offered the position of the director of the Houdini Museum of New York. Since starting at the Houdini Museum RJ has Been Featured in Fox 5, AM New York, NBC 4, Complex, Smithsonian & The New York Times. RJ’s Debut in a feature film will premiere in the Next year in a History/BBC Documentary on the secret diaries of Houdini.
