Miss Margarida’s Way
by Roberto Athayde
at Brick Aux Gallery – 628 Metropolitan Ave
March 30 – April 1, 2024

Miss Margarida – a woman of blistering paranoia and sexual frustration – soon reveals herself to be a monstrously inept schoolteacher. Tyrannical, flaunting her power, she cajoles her eighth grade class. Who are played by the audience. An embodiment of authority gone mad, Miss Margarida has been banned, censored, and suppressed in dictatorial countries around the world. Provocative and totally unique, Miss Margarida will have her way with you.
