Four immigrant women work in the financial centre of London, the old City. Unbenknownst to them, tonight is the night aliens invade the Earth.

This reading will take place over Zoom.
Ticket buyers will be sent a link via email on the day of the reading. Ticket buyers will also be provided with a password protected video of the reading that can be viewed for two weeks, in the event they can not attend the reading live.

(HAU/Sophiensaele/Ballhaus Ost/Camden People’s Theatre); A Short and Boring Story (Camden
Residencies include Royal Court 2019 and 2017, Experimental Stage of the National Theatre of
Greece 2017, AIDF Teatr Polski Bydgoszcz 2016.
Awards include Berlin Theatertreffen Stueckemarkt selection 2021, Sarah Award for Audio Fiction
2020, Jerwood/Royal Court New Playwright Award 2019 (with Jasmine Lee-Jones), Women’s Prize
for Playwriting Finalist 2020, Bruntwood Prize shortlist 2019.
